'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria has slammed rumors that she and singer Beyonce Knowles will play a lesbian couple in a 'female Brokeback Mountain' to be directed by 'Lost In Translation' director Sofia Coppola. “Stop the madness,” Longoria bellowed and then added, “Believe me, I would love to work with Beyonce one day. She's so talented. But this is definitely not something we are doing together. It's completely and absolutely not true.” Rumor mills went into overdrive with assertions that Longoria and Knowles were going to star in the screen adaptation of Tipping the Velvet, a Sarah Waters story of a British girl who falls in love with a female stage performer.
